Who We Are

Change the Game is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization with a mission to support and build a strong, diverse progressive data community. We work with expert trainers, coaches, mentors and community leaders who have decades of experience to teach important skills and tools in our bootcamps, digital academies and online courses. What sets us apart is our commitment to expanding, retaining and supporting our community of practitioners, regardless of where they come from, what they look like, or the level of education or experience they have. Project Lead: Full time, Remote

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Online course management & ongoing course support
  • Academy and boot camp participant management
    • Creating and managing application processes
    • Acting as emcee and group manager
  • Vendor point of contact (technology, learning platform, hardware/software). 
    • The ideal candidate will be an excellent and prompt communicator who is able to troubleshoot technical issues and manage relationships
  • Develop reports and collect feedback from all internal and external projects
    • Change the Game is always looking to improve our products and processes. The ideal candidate will be able to design and execute data/feedback collection following each project in order to evaluate the success of the implemented work
  • General Operational and Project Support
    • Working with internal and external team members to review new courses, activities and outgoing communication
    • Website maintenance to reflect programmatic changes
    • The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable– able to step into multiple roles as needed
  • A fierce and unwavering passion for bringing about sustainable change to the progressive data space

Preferred Experience: 

  • 1+ years of program/project management experience
  • 1+ years of experience developing training content
  • Experience using progressive tools: Bigquery, VAN, Civis Platform, Google Sheets
  • Experience using SQL, Python, Asana, Slack, Zoom, OpenEdX or other LMS
  • A network within the progressive space
  • Airtable (or database) management
  • Experience in the progressive space with:
    •  Campaigns
    •  Progressive 501(c)(4) organizations
    • Labor, reproductive or other progressive allies and/or
    • State or local party infrastructure
  • A successful candidate will be organized, a strong communicator, detail and process oriented, a creative thinker with supreme troubleshooting skills, and a flexible go-getter with a “no job too big or small” attitude. 

Compensation: $60-70K with generous benefits and paid time off. 

This is a remote role that will require: typing; sitting or standing at a desk; communicating with team members, participants and external actors via phone and video chat; and project management.
